The atelier
Slow work, for a fast car.
Twelve people finish every AUREL by hand. Each one signs the part they made, somewhere only you will ever find it.
Forty hours of stitching
Machines do what machines are good at. Then the people take over.

Hide
Full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather, chosen hide by hide and cut around every natural mark we would rather keep.

Open-pore wood
Sustainably felled dark walnut, sealed with oil rather than lacquer, so it still feels like wood under your hand.

Machined metal
Each switch is cut from a solid billet of aluminium, then weighted so it clicks exactly the same way every time.
Eleven coats, six colours
Colour you can only see in daylight.
Burgundy Noir
Midnight Sapphire
Obsidian
Racing Green
Champagne
Pearl
Inside the workshop
Nine weeks, in five steps.
Week 1
Commission
You sit down with a colour specialist and choose from samples in daylight.
Week 2
Paint
Eleven coats are sprayed and hand-polished between each layer.
Week 4
Hide selection
Your leather is chosen, marked up and cut as a single matched set.
Week 6
Stitching
Forty hours of hand stitching, using a saddle stitch that cannot unravel.
Week 9
Sign-off
A 300 km test drive, one last polish, and the signatures go in.

Yours alone
No two are the same. We keep it that way.
Every car leaves with a bound record of its materials, its makers and the day it was finished.
