Engineering
Quiet is the hardest thing to build.
Anyone can make a fast car loud. It took us a great deal longer to make one that you barely hear.
By the numbers
1,020 hp
Two axial-flux motors, one on each axle.
2.6 s
From standstill to 100 km/h, without a sound.
720 km
Range on one charge at a steady motorway pace.
19 min
From 10 to 80 percent on an 800-volt charger.

Powertrain
Two motors. No drama.
The motors are small enough to sit low between the wheels. Power reaches each axle in under ten milliseconds, far quicker than you could notice a wheel beginning to slip.
Battery
The floor is the battery.
A 118 kWh pack forms the floor of the car. It lowers the centre of gravity below the wheel hubs and stiffens the whole structure, so we needed less metal everywhere else.

Chassis
It reads the road ahead.
Cameras watch the surface twenty metres in front. Each damper is adjusted before the wheel arrives at the bump, so the cabin stays level.
Light
Headlights that steer around people.
One million micro-mirrors shape each beam. They light up your side of the road while keeping oncoming drivers in shadow.
